Ho Chi Minh arrival – Half Day City tour

  • Welcome to Ho Chi Minh City: Your journey begins in Ho Chi Minh City, once known as Saigon. It’s the largest city in Vietnam, boasting a vibrant blend of commerce, finance, and cultural activities.

  • Arrival and Guided Transfer: As you arrive, our local tour guide will extend a warm welcome and assist you in transferring to the heart of the city.

  • Indian Restaurant Lunch: Indulge in a delicious lunch at an Indian restaurant, savoring a fusion of flavors in this new setting.

  • Exploring History at War Remnants Museum: After lunch, immerse yourself in history with a visit to the War Remnants Museum. This museum offers a poignant display of the Vietnam War’s events through graphic exhibits that leave a lasting impact.

  • Reunification Palace: Next on the itinerary is the Reunification Palace, where history took a pivotal turn. This palace, once the Independence Palace of the South Vietnamese president, witnessed the iconic moment of tanks storming in on April 30, 1975, marking the end of the Vietnam War. Preserved in its original state, it provides a captivating glimpse into an era gone by.

  • City Center Stroll: Take a leisurely walk through the heart of the city, absorbing the sights of Ho Chi Minh City’s architectural gems. Marvel at City Hall, the Opera House, and the stunning Notre Dame Cathedral, built between 1877 and 1883. The colonial elegance of the Central Post Office is a must-see.

  • Ben Thanh Market: Experience the vibrant atmosphere of Ben Thanh Market, a bustling marketplace where local life thrives. Here, you can find a variety of souvenirs, handicrafts, and delectable local delicacies.

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh – Mekong Delta

My Tho Mekong River Excursion: Experience My Tho, renowned for its coconuts and local delights like coconut candy and rice paper. Cruise on the Mekong River, witnessing local life along the banks. Pause at an island, relish tropical fruits amidst lush gardens with traditional Vietnamese music. Explore water coconut tree-lined canals on small rowboats, visit local factories for honey tea and coconut candy production. Enjoy a local restaurant lunch with Indian catering.

Vinh Trang Pagoda Visit: Return via boat and drive to Saigon. En route, visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, a grand structure blending Chinese, Vietnamese, and Angkor styles.

Dining: Savor dinner at an Indian restaurant before resting overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 3: Ho Chi Minh - Cu Chi tunnels

Cu Chi Tunnels & Shooting Range: Morning trip to Cu Chi Tunnels, a historic network of over 200 km underground. Experience the war-time underground life through trap doors, living areas, factories, and more. Crawl through a tunnel section, feel the conditions. Optional shooting experience with M15, AK-47, and carbine rifles at the Defense Sports Shooting Range (extra cost).

Lunch & Leisure: Return to Saigon for lunch at an Indian restaurant. Enjoy a leisurely afternoon.

Dining: Indulge in dinner at an Indian restaurant in the evening.

Day 4: Ho Chi Minh – Morning flight Danang – Half Day city tour

Danang Exploration: Check out after breakfast and head to the airport for your domestic flight to Danang (air tickets not included). Upon arrival, meet our local guide and transfer to your hotel. Enjoy lunch at an Indian restaurant.

Da Nang Highlights: In the afternoon, explore Da Nang. Visit Son Tra Peninsula for stunning city views and Linh Ung Pagoda with Vietnam’s tallest Buddha statue. Explore modern bridges including the Han River Bridge, Thuan Phuoc Bridge, and the famous Dragon Bridge. Discover the Love Bridge for couples, and stroll in Apec Park with its iconic kite-shaped icon. Visit Marble Mountain, ascend Thuy Son for countryside vistas, explore Huyen Khong Cave, Tam Thai, and Linh Ung pagodas, and admire Cham Buddha and unique rock formations in Am Phu Cave. Witness masterful stone sculptures in Non-Nuoc village.

Dining & Rest: Relish dinner at an Indian restaurant. Overnight stay in Danang.

Day 5: Danang - Cam Thanh coconut village - Hoian Ancient town

Countryside & Cultural Exploration:
Post breakfast, head to Cam Thanh village and Bay Mau coconut forest. Immerse in tradition: ride bamboo basket boats, learn fishing techniques, and enjoy serene coconut groves. Observe artisans crafting coconut leaf products. Try your hand at weaving. Lunch at an Indian restaurant.

Hoi An Ancient Town:
Later, journey to Hoi An Ancient Town. Wander enchanting streets, visit Japanese Bridge, Chinese Assembly halls, and historic houses. Tune into folk music, experience riverside markets. Capture artistic inspiration from Hoi An’s rooftops.

Dining & Return:
Savor dinner at an Indian restaurant. Return to Danang for overnight stay.

Day 6: Danang - Ba Na Hills – Golden Bridge

Ba Na Hill Adventure: Start your day with breakfast, followed by a transfer to Ba Na Hill, a breathtaking landscape in Danang. Glide up the mountain via cable car (1487m above sea level). Explore various attractions including the Funicular, Debay ancient wine cellar, Le Jardin D’Amour, Linh Ung Pagoda, and the Thich Ca Buddhist statue.

Lunch & Fantasy Park: Lunch is at the Ba Na Hills restaurant, featuring a Vietnamese buffet with added Indian selections. Afternoon activities include games at Fantasy Park. Walk to the mountain’s summit (1487m) to see the Bell Tower, Nghinh Phong tower, and the iconic Golden Bridge for stunning photos. Note that entrance fees for the Wax Museum, Debay Wine Cellar, and coin games at Fantasy Park are separate.

Return & Leisure: Descend via cable car and return to the hotel. Enjoy leisure time for the rest of the day.

Dining & Rest: Indulge in dinner at an Indian restaurant. Overnight stay in Danang.

Day 7: Danang – Flight back Ho Chi Minh – Departure

Departure Day: Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and complete check-out by 12 pm. Have some leisure time at your disposal.

Lunch & Departure: Savor lunch at an Indian restaurant or opt for a packed lunch. Afterward, transfer to Danang airport for your connecting flight to Ho Chi Minh City (air tickets not included), from where you’ll catch your flight back home.

What if there are less number of travelers?

We need a minimum of 9 or more travelers for the Trip Buddy to accompany. Incase there are lesser travelers, local drivers and guides are provided + constant backend support from the team is provided.

What type of accommodation will be provided?

The accommodation will be in 3 or 4 Star hotels on double/triple occupancy.

How would internal travel be?

Internal travel will be ferries, private coaches, etc. 

Will I get Vegetarian food easily in Bali?

Yes. Vegetarian food is easily available everywhere in Bali. Plus we also recommend local restaurants which provide options of vegetarian food.

Do I need to know swimming for snorkeling?

You will be wearing life jackets and instructors will be with you at all times. Even if you don’t know swimming, you can still do snorkeling.

What is the difficulty level of the Mt Batur Trek?

A moderate level of fitness is required for the Mt Batur trek. The terrain will be undulating with some places being elevated and some areas being downhill. The treks are not extremely difficult and are quite manageable.
